Weight and Height
14lbs. 14oz.

~Motor and Fine Development~
I love to jump!!!! Bouncing is my new favorite thing to do. Mommy got me the Rainforest Jumperoo and I jump like crazy in it. If I am standing on the floor or someone’s lap I am always bouncing up and down and laughing like crazy! I can sit in a tripod position with my arms out in front of me and play with my toys and I can sit all by myself unsupported for just a bit and then I get a little off balance and I fall over. I am starting to draw up my knees and scoot when I am on my belly but I get a little frustrated sometimes because I can’t get very far!. I am still rolling like crazy and I love to play on my tummy. I also have this toy that has a ball hanging from it and I love to kick it. I can pick up a toy and pass it from one hand to the other very well and I try to grasp everything within my reach.

~Food~
I am nursing again~ I will nurse for three of my feedings and the other two are from a bottle. Mommy is trying so hard to keep up with me and get enough milk but I’m just such a little piggy!! I like rice cereal but mommy just gave me a taste of oatmeal and it is sooooo yummy. I love it!!!! I get a bowl of rice cereal and a bowl of oatmeal everyday and I love it.

~Sleep~
I still love to sleep! I sleep about 10-12 hours at night and take a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon. Mommy says that I am getting to be a big girl now and don’t need to be swaddled but I don’t think so. When she tries to put me to bed without wrapping me I cry and I cry and I cry until she gives in and then it’s all better. Maybe in the the next couple of weeks I can learn to live without it.

~Verbal Development~
I am talking up a storm. I just love to hear myself talk and scream. I sound so pretty!! I laugh really hard when daddy plays with me and rubs his head on my belly. I scream particularly loud when I get excited in my jumperoo. I also have learned that if someone is not paying attention to me I can just scream really loud and they will come and play with me—it’s kind of funny! I have also started to fake cough to get everyone’s attention too!

~Teeth~
Still no teeth but I think they are coming soon. I drool everywhere and love to chew on things (sometimes I chew on mommy when I am eating and she says it really hurts but I think its funny!!) My nose was a little runny the other day so I think I might be getting a tooth real soon!

~Favorites~
My favorite part of the day is when my daddy comes home from work. I get really excited to see him and I love when he comes and picks me up!!! I love playing with him on the floor, especially when he tickles me. I also love when mommy sing to me, especially lullabies, my eyes just light up and I smile really big! I really like going on walks with mommy ~ its fun to be outside and see all the stuff out there. I like to walk at Blanchard Park and see all the ducks in the river. One of my most favorite things is my jumperoo. It is a blast and I just get so excited playing in it. But the best part of me day is right before I go to bed. Mommy gives me a bath and then we cuddle and she nurses me. I eat a little and then like to laugh and talk and then I eat a little more and then laugh a little more, it is our special time. After I eat we read Goodnight Moon and then I go right to sleep. It’s my favorite part of the day and think mommy’s favorite part of the day too.
