Ok, so no Gingerbread House yet but we did make some really cute Christmas ornaments, for our tree and for Christmas gifts, and we also got some more gifts wrapped and Addison took a little cookie break and chowed down on my snickerdoodles, I guess they were pretty good, ask Addison, or just watch the video!!!!!

I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away!!!!! All of my shopping is done, most of my wrapping is done, cookies have been baked, stockings have been hung, Christmas stories have been read, Santa has been visited, pictures have been taken, eggnog has been drunk, Nutcracker has been seen and the rest has still yet to come!!!!! Gosh I love Christmas!!!!! We met my little sister up at the mall yesterday and she wanted to get pictures with her and Addison and Santa and I wished them luck. Turns out the Santa is AMAZING, there was a whole group of photographers and people to divert Addison's attention and they shot a bunch a candids and we got those on cd, very cool, extremely impressed!!! Addison had her 15 month checkup on Wednesday and weighed in at a whole 22 pounds and 31.5 inches long. She did great, looked great and got 2 shots, which was not so great. Last time she got her shots she had a 104 temp that night but luckily with these there were no fevers and no fussiness, UNTILLLL, the very next day I noticed this yucky green goup oozing from her eyes, PINK EYE!!!!!!! Who knows how she got it but we got right in to the doctors and she got her eye drops and this morning her eyes look great, bu bye green goup, bu bye pink eye!!!!! He said 24-48 hours later and no green goup and she is good to go!!!!! We are very excited because we can't wait to meet Reid and Luke!!!! Wes's cousin Missy and her family are visiting from South Dakota and we can't wait to see them. Addison watches Reid sing the Wheels On The Bus song on her website all the time and so I know she would just love her to death but yea Pink Eye has to sneak up and ruin everything, but thats ok because in the next day or two she shouldn't be contagious anymore and we can go and play, YAYYYYY!!!! Today I think we are going to decorate Addison's Gingerbread House and wrap some more presents, fun fun fun!!!!!!!

SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!! We got a picture with Santa!!!! I held her on my knee and leaned out of the picture and it worked, she wasn't in one of her many cute Christmas dresses and she wasn't exactly smiling but hey I got it!!!!! We did a little Christmas shopping today and we picked up something special, The Elf On A Shelf. I saw this in one of my babies rooms at work and thought it was the cutest thing. It's a Christmas tradition in which the elf comes out around the holidays and he is Santa's watcher. He keeps an eye out and reports each night to Santa on the kid's behavior, wether they were naughty or nice. Then, each morning the elf is in a different spot and the kids have to find him. It comes with a beautiful story and the cute little elf, I thought it was such a cute idea and neat tradition.I know Addison has no clue what it means but I wanted to start the tradition now and maybe next year she will understand it a little more. We have a busy weekend ahead. Friday we are getting family portarits done, and going to see the Nutcracker. Saturday is Snow Mountain at Winterfest in downtown Oviedo and Sunday is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!!!! Oh yea and then Monday is baking ALL DAY LONG for the cookie exchange party that night!!! Fun fun fun, I LOVE the holidays!!!!!!

Wow!!!I can't believe that I have not posted since October! Well, I guess a lot has happened since then. Thanksgiving was wonderful, I had to work on Thanksgiving but got to go shopping the day after with my Mom, Aunt Jo-Jo and Nana and had lots of fun, the next day had a very fun Thansgiving party at my dad's and then Sunday I made Thanksgiving dinner at my house with some of my family over and I have to say my turkey (1st turkey ever) was awesome. My mom was having a little problem with how I was cooking it so when she turned her back I did it MY way and it turned out so good, you should have seen her face, her and my Nana were carving it and were drooling over how good it was--HAAAAAA my way was the BOMB!!!!!!!!! I am very proud of myself because the day BEFORE Thanksgiving I pulled all of my Christmas decorations down from the attic and decorated!!!!It was so much fun putting the tree up and all the decorations on it and all around the house. I just love Christmas, I love all the decorations, the trees, the feeling of yumminess and all the Christmas music. This week I am gong to start all my baking (not that I'm some big baker or anthing but it sounds cool)! Right now Wes is in Kansas stalking and killing poor little Bambi and my mom has been staying with me and Addison. Wev'e had lots of fun shopping and eating and lounging around!!! We went to the new IKEA in Orlando and it was amazing.I wasn't all too excited about it because when the catalog came out a couple of weeks ago I wasn't all that impressed but thought I would go check it out. It was sooooooo cool. It was almost like an amusement park, it had the arrows on the main aisles for you to follow and the store was just never ending and two gigantic floors full of neat stuff. We got a bunch of stuff to decorate Addison's playroom (will get to the playroom later in the post)for less than $100. We got a little table and chairs for $20!!!!!! It was just such a neat store. It had a place to eat all kinds of food, even Swedish food, it also had a huge play area for the kids. We also spent a day at the mall and got Addison all dressed up and looking oh so cute and festive in her Christmas dress to get pictures with Santa. Did that happen, NOOOOOO!!!! She was a little scared of him, could you blame her though, this big fat old guy with this big white hairy thing hanging off his chin, I mean really!!!! I even tried to hold her and stand next to him and just be in the picture but she wouldn't even do that so I just gave up, we'll sit with Santa next year. On to the playroom.I have been going back and forth on the idea of turning our back bedroom into a playroom for Addison (and all my other kids one day!!!!) She just has so many toys and I feel like they are taking over my house and I just think that having them all in one big area would be nice. Soooooo, me and my mom have been working hard to convert the backroom (otherwise known as our throw everything you aren't using or will ever use and don't feel like throwing away into bedroom). It took a while to clean it up and put things away and throw things away but it was finally clean and ready to go.We had big plans of painting on the bottom half of one wall with chalkboard paint but we just thought that would be a mess and too much trouble so we opted out of that idea. We painted circles in three different circles on the top of the big back wall and it looks so cute but let me tell ya painting in the circles was sooooo hard, I'm not too good at painting inside the lines but they look cute and very homeade!!!!!!We put together the table and chairs from Ikea and put some shelves up and it looks so darn cute!!! I put this cute little flower mat in the middle of the room and she seems to take her toys and sit on that and play, it is very cute!!!! I put on some music and she just spun all around the room and was acting all crazy and it was so cute!!! She kept running back to that room to play and I think she really likes it!!!! I'll post some pictures of it tommorow though because we have to touch up some of the circles and hang the string with the alphabet on them. Well, now that youv'e fallen asleep reading this novel I guess I will sign off. Wes is coming home Monday afternoon and I know Addison will be so excited to see her daddy and I know I will miss my mommy because she has been such a big help,she's actually folding my laundry right now, thanks mom, your the best and you will always be THE mom!!!!!
